Perth Rent-A-Car Terms & Conditions. These terms form the rental agreement between you and the Company. Please read them before collecting a vehicle.
1. Authorised drivers
The vehicle may be used only by an authorised driver. An authorised driver is:
- You, the renter or driver named on the agreement; and/or
- A licensed driver who has been approved by the Company as an additional renter.
2. Condition of the vehicle and its return
You acknowledge receiving the vehicle in good and clean condition, except as recorded on the Vehicle Inspection Report.
You agree to maintain tyre pressure, fluid and fuel at the appropriate levels, and to report any defect to us immediately.
You must return the vehicle in the same condition it was in at the start of the rental period, ordinary wear and tear excepted, with the odometer seal intact, to the location and on the date specified in the agreement.
Returning the vehicle to any location other than the agreed one, or after the agreed time, may incur additional charges.
3. Late returns
Rentals run on a 24-hour basis, with a one-hour grace period:
- Up to 1 hour late — no charge
- 1–3 hours late — half-day charge
- More than 3 hours late — one full day’s charge
These charges also apply to any extras on the booking.
4. Insurance, excess and bond
All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance. An excess applies, being the maximum you would pay in the event of an accident. An administration fee of $110 applies in the event of an accident. A refundable security bond is taken at pick up.
5. Cancellations
- More than 14 days’ notice — no charge
- 14 days or less — 20% of the booking
- 7 days or less — the full rental charge
6. Repossession
The Company reserves the right to take possession of the vehicle without notice, at your expense, if the terms of this agreement are breached.
